Superb family run restaurant. Fernando, Susana & Louis (not family!) ensure you’re well served and are all GREAT personalities. Seafood is a speciality but their grills and daily specials are not to be missed. Love this place.

If you really are looking for a real traditional food, this is the place. I had the shrimps cooked with garlic and coriandolo, it was one of the best I ever tasted. Make sure you try the bread, served hot and melting butter on top. The place is cozy, they are so nice and kind.

If one ends up like myself in this sleepy town where seemingly nothing happens, do not hesitate to visit this place for a delicious and hearty meal that will not break the bank. The seafood was excellent and so was the wine and the orange cake, made with oranges from algarve. A family owned restaurant with very friendly staff. Recommended!

Food that tastes. It's traditional, it's tasty, it's authentic. For those who love living... the staff genuinely enjoy the company of their customers. In the end you wonder why isn't this possible everyday.

Small local restaurant with delicious food and reasonable prices. We arrived before the regular dinner time but the waitress was very friendly and welcomed us still . The staff also speaks English. Would definitely go there again for fantastic food.
Some of the best meat I have ever eaten, it was phenomenal. The service was also amazing.

Restaurante caseiro comida muito bem confeccionada, aberto ao Domingo com Esplanada onde ficámos com o cão. Comemos bochechas e bacalhau no forno que estavam incríveis. O serviço impecável. Valeu a pena o pequeno desvio da estrada velha. Tem uns suspiros com amendoa laminadas típicos da zona, excelentes!

A home-style restaurant with beautifully prepared food, open on Sundays with a terrace where we sat with our dog. We had the cheeks and baked cod, which were incredible. The service was impeccable. It was worth the short detour from the old road. They have meringues with sliced almonds, typical of the area, excellent!
